December 19 2002
It's been a long time.
Much is going on. Yes, I am still smoking. No, my friend wasn't pissed off.
The smoking is an on again off again thing.
I don't crave it as much as I used too, but I still smoke to keep my nerves
better and my stress lower.
We have moved. Well, actually we are in the process of moving.
My college roomie and my best friend are building a home and their home
will have a separate living space in the basement. They have graciously
allowed us into their home and into their lives.
Things are tight right now. We are all living in the same area, but it is
no worse than college. Hell, it is better than college.
If you have a suscpicion that I am not telling you all, then you are very
probably correct. As my dear friend says, "cope"! ;)
I have temporarily left Pagan Speak. I hope to go back someday soon, but
right now I have too much going on to try and keep this up to date.
The holidays are coming. We will be celebrating xmas. My son is going
to make out like a bandit!! ;)
Anyway, I wanted to take a moment and say hello, blessed be, and my thoughts
are on tonight's full moon.
Last month's full moon was wonderful. For the first time in 3 years I was able
to have a ritual outside and it was a beautiful, fullfilling experience.
It was so good to be back. I welcomed 2 new friends that night. One,
my dearest friend, whom I love, guarded my circle, and the other, was his kitty cat,
Cricket. Weird, since my nickname from my father was Kricket for many a year.
This cat came to them with the name and by accident. She has been close to
me ever since.... Wonderful creature she is. I wonder if she will join me
again tonight..
Tonight it is going to be cold, but my hubby is building a fire pit and
I will prally put my robes on over my clothes. Last month it wasn't so
cold. Oh well.
Anyway, as I am starting my preparations for this eve, I decided to take a moment
and update this page, since it has been over 2 months since I have entered anything.
Perhaps I will be in the mood to begin updating more regularly. Perhaps not.
I know not who reads this journal, if anyone, and the possibilities frighten me
sometimes. The truth is unusual, even to me. But then, I have always been fond
of saying that my life is a soap opera! Nice to know that nothing has changed
even after all these years!!
Blessed Be!
