Contemplation

I sit and contemplate
Can I worship One
Without the Other?
Does it take both
To make a Whole?

What shall I do?
What shall I feel?
Is there a correct answer?

If there needs to be both
Then it shall be so with me.

My heart and soul lies with the moon,
But who am I to not be thankful
For the sun, mountain and forest.

The Earth, water, and Moon is She,
Yet the ethereal mountains
And the handsome forests
Shining in the bright sunlight is He.

I realize now,
There was never any doubt.
There cannot be One
Without the Other.

So is it wrong,
That I yet feel drawn
To the soft silver
Of Her evenin's light?
